Nestled close to Electronics City, Attibele is a favoured destination for those looking to reside here
Attibele, once a sparsely populated hamlet located in the south Bengaluru, is slowly emerging as a prime residential hub. Attibele nestles close to Electronic City making it conveniently accessible for those employed in the IT offices, and garments and automotive industries located here. It is only around 30 km from the city's centre and 2 km from the neighbouring Hosur town in Tamil Nadu. This makes it an ideal location and easier for those employed in the city to commute.
Excellent road connectivity makes Attibele a favoured destination for those looking to reside here. Mud roads have given way to wider asphalt ones. While the Attibele main road links to the elevated expressway connecting Electronic City to Silk Board junction, the service roads run up all the way to Hosur Main Road. The Karnataka state buses, the BMTC as well as interstate buses from Tamil Nadu ply through the neighbourhood providing the much-needed public transport.
A few years ago, there was not much Attibele could boast about apart from a couple of holiday resorts and roadside eateries. With IT and biotech offices springing up in the area, hotels and restaurants too mushroomed. Educational institutions now have sprawling campuses here, and hospitals and departmental stores are a dime a dozen.
Attibele was never on the real estate map till Electronic City made its presence felt. Real estate development was at its peak in E-City with a host of high-rises within gated enclaves housing the techies. For developers looking to construct spacious villa properties, the large land banks in Attibele were a boon. Today, Attibele is home to a variety of housing options to suit every budget. Attibele is where the realty action is.
